All-you-can-eat pork belly that a skeptical hotel engineer walked out believing in.
I keep hotels running around Myeongdong for a living, and we don’t do tourist traps. All-you-can-eat Korean BBQ has a reputation — cheap meat, cheap everything. I walked in skeptical. I walked out a believer.
Here’s the deal. Eongteori — the sign out front reads “Ungteori Korea BBQ” — is the place a lot of Koreans credit with kicking off the all-you-can-eat pork craze. ₩17,900 a head. Unlimited samgyeopsal. Unlimited rice. A doenjang-jjigae that cooks right in the middle of your grill.
And yes — I know what you’re thinking. “Unlimited” usually means as much mediocre meat as you can stand. That was my worry too. So I’ll just tell you what happened: the pork was good. Genuinely good. When the quality’s there, samgyeopsal renders down clean and nutty, no funk — and that’s exactly what landed on my grill.
The doenjang-jjigae is the part I keep thinking about. Don’t sip it like a soup. Spoon it over your rice, mix it through, and eat it between bites of pork. That’s the move.

What to Order
The menu is short, and — small miracle — it’s already printed in English, Chinese and Japanese. The unlimited set is the whole point. The sides are there if you want to stretch the meal out.
Eating solo?
It’s all-you-can-eat and priced per head, so two is the sweet spot. If you’re on your own, check at the counter first — and if they say yes, get the set and a cold beer.
Two or more?
Order the set each, work the grill in batches, and split a bibim-naengmyeon at the end. Tables of four get a free 1.25L cola.

How to Order
- Head up to 2F and grab any open table — no host, just sit down.
- Order the unlimited set — ₩17,900 a head. Staff fire up the round grill and set the doenjang-jjigae pot in the middle.
- Help yourself. Raw pork from the chilled case, lettuce and kimchi and bean sprouts from the self-serve bar, rice whenever you want it.
- Grill it in small batches — staff swing by to help cut and flip. Let the jjigae bubble away in the center the whole time.
- Pay at the counter on the way out. Cards are fine. No tipping — ever, anywhere in Korea.
