I work on a hotel facilities team near City Hall. This place calls itself the “Embassy of Korean Sausage Stew.” Bold name. But the pot backs it up — sausage, pork, kimchi and green onion, all in one bubbling pot. I cleared two bowls of rice without thinking.

How to Order
- Seat yourself — no host. The table has its own burner.
- Order the stew (2 servings minimum). The English menu makes it easy. Call staff with “Yeogiyo!” (여기요).
- It cooks at your table. Let the sausage ring simmer, then dig in. Add a ramyeon sari near the end.
- Pay at the counter on your way out. Cards are fine. No tipping — ever, in Korea.
